Good Charlotte to release new song today?
Exciting times, it looks like there will be a new Good Charlotte song released today!
The band have tweeted ‘Makeshift Love’ and tagged iTunes and Apple Music – and given a time of 9.30am PST. That’s 5.30pm here in the UK.
We can’t wait!
Good Charlotte team up with AP for ‘one night only’
News on Good Charlotte’s comeback and reformation is still a bit thin on the ground – other than lots of excitement from the fans and a lot of RTs and Favourites (or should I say, Likes) on Twitter from the band.
But following on from the 30 second clip of a new song yesterday, Alt Press have now posted that they’re partnering with the band for ‘one night only’. Other than that little tease, they’re keeping firmly shtum. Could this be the name of the new album, a live event announcing details of a new album/tour or a live Q&A/streaming of new material? Who knows.
Just hope it’s not something taking place when us UK Good Charlotte fans are tucked up in bed!
Good Charlotte are back!
After a long break, Good Charlotte have finally confirmed their comeback and released a clip of a new song!
An updated GoodCharlotte.com appeared earlier on today with a new promo pic and a link to a post on Alternative Press with a 30 second clip of a brand new song.
The band have been slowly becoming more active on social media in the previous months and dropping some major hints.
So it looks like a new album – but does this mean UK tour dates? We understand it does, so keep your eyes peeled on Good Charlotte UK for more!
GC went on hiatus in 2011 but that’s not say they’ve been quiet. During their time away, Joel and Benji have taken part in The Voice on Australia and released an album as their side-project The Madden Brothers, Billy has been developing his art, Paul has been involved with alt-rock group Seeking Empire and went to university, and Dean has been touring with Sugar Ray and starring in TV show Hollywood Game Nights on NBC in the US. And that’s not even mentioning weddings and kids!
