Good Charlotte have been announced as the headliner for 2026’s Slam Dunk Festival.
The shows in Hatfield and Leeds are billed as a European exclusive for GC.
Good Charlotte last played Slam Dunk in 2018, and the 2026 shows will be Good Charlotte’s first UK performance since February 2019.
Tickets are on sale from Saturday 27 September.

Good Charlotte have confirmed details of their new single Rejects – and the premiere of its music video.
Rejects will premiere on YouTube on Wednesday 25 June at 6pm UK time (10am PST).
The band have been teasing snippets of the song on social media in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, Good Charlotte confirmed album Motel du Cap would be released on 8 August.

The announcement came as Good Charlotte announced they and their label MDDN had signed a deal with music publishing publishing company BMG for the release of the album.
No name or release date has been given for the follow up to 2016’s Youth Authority.
The band have been teasing something on social media in recent weeks which started off with images of themselves with skulls overlaid on their faces, before using the same graphics on pictures of artists such as Coolio, Celine Dion and Kenny G.
The images have featured the phrase “Actual Pain” and a teaser posted earlier this week had the date of 25 May, this Friday on.

Six years since their last album release, Good Charlotte’s Youth Authority is now out!
It’s available on iTunes and Apple Music now (with bonus track Rise), is set to be on Spotify from next week and is also available from HMV on CD and vinyl with two bonus tracks – We’ll Let It All Out and Life Is Hard.
Hopefully they’ll play some of the new tracks live for us on their UK tour next month.

Good Charlotte have (accidentally) revealed that they’ll be playing at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals.
In a live Q&A video chat for MTV on Facebook (which you can see on MTV’s Facebook page), the band said they’ll be returning to the UK for festivals this year – but weren’t actually meant to reveal that!
Joel:”We will be back in the UK in August.”
Benji: “Back for Reading and Leeds and a few…”
Joel: “Has this been announced?”
Billy: “I don’t think so.”
Benji: “Oh gosh.”
Joel: “Well, that sucks.”
Benji: “Don’t tell anyone!”
Billy: “But we’re live so can’t go back…we’re waiting for the announcement.”
Reading and Leeds take place August bank holiday weekend.
The band last played at Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2003.
Good Charlotte have confirmed that their return after going on hiatus in 2011 is not just for one album.
Speaking before their show at Manchester Arena, Benji and Joel said they’re looking at making another one or two albums after the release of their as-yet untitled sixth album – although Billy pointed out that they’ll continue to make music indefinitely as long as it remains fun.
The sixth album is due to be released this summer and is currently being mixed, and Benji and Joel said it contains some of their best music to date.
The band also revealed some of the songs they’re most proud of. Benji and Joel highlighted ‘Emotionless’ and a song written for 5 Seconds of Summer, ‘Amnesia’, as some of their favourites – as well as the Madden Brothers album ‘Greetings from California’ as it was very personal to them.
When asked about their best memories of spending time in the UK, the band said they love playing gigs in the UK as the crowds are always so lively – although Benji did highlight another good memory was when they played a show at Alton Towers in 2004 as they travelled to the gig by helicopter.
Good Charlotte confirmed they’re currently planning their next visit to our shores – with October/November looking likely for the next Good Charlotte UK tour.
On the eve of the first Good Charlotte UK tour in five years, the band have announced they have signed to a new label.
Kobalt Label Services, which includes artists such as Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Pet Shop Boys on its roster, have signed an agreement ‘effective immediately’ with the band – which will include the upcoming and as yet untitled sixth Good Charlotte album.
Previous GC albums have been released on labels Epic and Capitol.
In the press release, Benji and Joel say the sixth album will be ‘the best music we’ve ever made’.
KLS describes itself as providing the ‘next generation of services’ for artists – and says it allows acts to maintain ownership of their masters.
The current Good Charlotte UK tour starts in Cardiff tonight.
Exciting times – Good Charlotte have revealed some more details about their upcoming album in an interview with Rolling Stone.
The band’s sixth album will be out in May, the magazine reveals – but they’ve not yet announced the name.
The interview also reveals lyrics from a new Good Charlotte song that we vcan expect on album 6:
‘You know they say that nothing lasts forever/You know they said we’d never stay together/It’s a long way down/Can’t turn back now/Going through these life changes.’
Hopefully we’ll hear some of these new tracks on the upcoming Good Charlotte UK gigs in February!
