Good Charlotte’s UK tour is, sadly, now over but all the fans can agree that they put on a fantastic run of shows and it was like they’d never been away. (And I was luckily enough to bump into Billy and Paul before the show).

But what did the reviewers think? Here’s a round-up:

The Scotsman is pretty harsh and says they’re more akin to Busted than Green Day (not something I’d agree with, but anyway) but does add that the Madden brothers’ ‘hearts seem to be in the right place’

‘Live, however, they were impossible to dislike’, says the Telegraph (even if they were slightly scathing about the music…)

‘Still on Good form after all these years’, says the Sunday Mail

Punktastic say ‘it’s always great when you can just tell that a band are having just as much fun up there as the crowd are’.

Kerrang say ‘they have a renewed lease of life’ and gives them 4 stars/Ks.

Original Rock say ‘they definitely have not lost their touch live’.

Mosh say ‘they still manage to have everything perfect to a T’ (even if they forget to mention Paul and Dean)

‘Good Charlotte manage to maintain the energy and the noise levels throughout an excellently planned-out set’ says Dead Press.
