Good Charlotteβs UK tour is, sadly, now over but all the fans can agree that they put on a fantastic run of shows and it was like theyβd never been away. (And I was luckily enough to bump into Billy and Paul before the show).
But what did the reviewers think? Hereβs a round-up:
The Scotsman is pretty harsh and says theyβre more akin to Busted than Green Day (not something I’d agree with, but anyway)Β but does addΒ that the Madden brothersβ βhearts seem to be in the right placeβ
βLive, however, they were impossible to dislikeβ, saysΒ the Telegraph (even if they were slightly scathing about the musicβ¦)
βStill on Good form after all these yearsβ, says the Sunday Mail
PunktasticΒ say ‘itβs always great when you can just tell that a band are having just as much fun up there as the crowd are’.

Kerrang say βthey have a renewed lease of lifeβ and gives them 4 stars/Ks.

Original Rock say βthey definitely have not lost their touch liveβ.
Mosh say βthey still manage to have everything perfect to a Tβ (even if they forget to mention Paul and Dean)
βGood Charlotte manage to maintain the energy and the noise levels throughout an excellently planned-out setβ says Dead Press.
And the bloggers?
‘LOUD’, says Mel’s Jukebox whileΒ βthis show was epicβ, isΒ Tumblr blogger’sΒ soundsdandnoises conclusion.Β βCharisma, talent and down-to-earth attitudes; the band had it allβ addsΒ West Midlands-based Native Monster.
